Introduction:
Hi, I’m Rachel. Now let me tell you about myself. I am a very polite person. I have black wavy hair and orange eyes. I was born with orange eyes. My friends say when I get mad they turn red. I get scared because they are not lying. I don’t take advantage of my eyes turning red when im mad because I think it’s freaky and I want to keep it a secret. Having red and orange eyes are not normal. Now, let me tell you about on day at school everything changed.
Chapter 1:
Ok. One day I went to school, my boyfriend was in the cafeteria. I waved and walked over. Then Ashley, stopped me.†OH, honey! Jake broke up with you, he didn’t want to tell you in person so he told me to!†she said with a fake frown. I was heartbroken! As my voice became weak I said “well, I’ll just be on my way.†I walked away I ran into the bathroom crying and wiped my eyes. Then later on in the day I saw the boy that I liked since 1st grade. I waved to him he smiled and I ran over. “Umm, just asking but are you single by any chance?†I asked with a smile. “Umm yeah… Why?†he answered. “Oh no reason, Just asking.†I said quickly. I walked away. When I turned around I smiled. I was bound to ask him to go out. Then I was telling my friend about it. She said “he doesn’t like you don’t make a fool out of yourself.†What she said changed my whole entire mood. So I sat back down in my seat. After that period we were walking down the hall way. She seen my ex then I just looked at him all sad like.
Then when the bell rang. When the bell rang I walk to class. In class Ashley was flirting with Jake!!!!! Oh my goodness I could not believe she was doing that right in my face!!!! I could feel my heart drop from its place. Then I turn to my friend. “Rachel!! Your eyes, there turning red!!!†Lola said to me. “what in school?! Oh no what if Jake seen them?!?!??!?!???!?!?!?†I answerd her. I put my head down. Just when my teachers finger touched my sholder. “Umm Rachel, can u please pick your head up class is about to start.†Ms.Linda said softly. I picked my head up I think she noticed my eyes. The color draind from her face. She went to her desk and wrote on a piece of paper. She handed the paper to me and said, “umm I think you need to see the nurse hun.†As I walk towards the door I looked back at Jake as tears filled my eyes. “Why?†I said softly. As I walked out I ran to the bathroom, and I looked in the mirror. “NO!!!!†I screamed in terror.
