The Problem: I've been at my current job for 5 years (my only "real" career job), I love the people I work with and they have treated me very well. But I am a little bored with the work. I have an offer for a new job that would be a % pay increase, and more challenging work. Should I be loyal and stick it out for future advancements where I am, or take the leap and the new job?

Probably the new job,its better to fight your curiosness and you get to learn more and meet new people.Just keep in touch with your old friends at your job.

If they were your friends there, they'd say go for it! Not get all mad at you and give you the silent treatment.
